The 45 to 60 minute program uniquely blends the power, speed, and agility of boxing with the targeted sculpting and flexibility of Pilates. This is a barefoot class (flexible soled cross training shoes optional). These techniques are also supplemented by the use of weighted gloves (optional), further toning the arms and maximizing cardiovascular health. Add to that fun dance moves and you have a muscle- toning, fat-burning workout that will make you feel physically and mentally empowered!
HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING AND PILOXING KNOCKOUT® High Intensity Interval Training is a “progressive-level” (for currently active participants) high intensity, 30-35 minute (including warm up and cool down) interval class executed in a time ratio of approximately 3 minutes of intense cardio movements followed by 30 seconds of rest. The class is broken into 3 circuits of 3 rep – 3 minute sets preceded by 30 second rests. Interval training challenges your cardiovascular limits by pushing yourself to an intensity sustained 3 minutes, followed by a 30 second recovery rest before starting over with the next interval. Interval programs train your cardiovascular system to tolerate higher intensities of exercise and improve your level of fitness. Interval training is a great way to hammer out a quick workout, and it's extremely effective for transforming your physique.
